Elon Musk met with Senior US Senator from Texas, John Cornyn. The meeting took place at Giga Texas, where the men discussed Tesla, AI, supply chains, SpaceX, and China. The senator praised the factory, noting the company's enormous contribution to the development of Texas.

Republican Senior U.S. Senator from Texas John Cornyn visited Tesla's Texas manufacturing site. There he met with CEO Elon Musk. After the meeting, he thanked Musk for visiting on his social media platform, X. He noted that Giga Texas is the second largest manufacturing plant in the US. The factory employs 10,000 Texans and leads the way in job creation. To the message, he attached a photo of him with Musk, as well as him in Cybertruck.

"Everything is bigger in the Lone Star State including @Tesla's Gigafactory Texas - the 2nd largest manufacturing facility in the U.S.! Tesla's impressive facility employs 10k Texans & is one of the many reasons why TX is leading in job creation.

Thanks @elonmusk for the visit."

Giga Texas covers 2,500 acres of land and manufactures advanced electric vehicles. Tesla electric vehicles are the most American-made cars in the US. Those sold domestically are produced domestically by local workers and to a large extent from locally produced components. No other car manufacturer can match Tesla. Giga Texas is home to Model Y and will soon begin mass production of the Cybertruck. The factory also has its own production of 4680 battery cells. The facility is of great importance to Texas.

In addition to the significance of Tesla, Cornyn and Musk discussed some other important topics. Among them are artificial intelligence, supply chains, important minerals, SpaceX, and China. The senator wrote in a post later that while talking to Musk, there is no shortage of important topics to discuss.
