The first official Dogecoin festival called Dogepalooza will take place in October 2021. The essence of the event is to entertain the community, as well as provide more information on how cryptocurrency can be used in real life.

Dogepalooza is an attempt to bring together and entertain the Dogecoin community, which is renowned for its unity, kindness, and sense of humor. The organizers promised to support the community and donate to both local and national charities. Such an initiative will not be casual, because the festival will be held under the slogan Do Only Good Everyday or DOGE.

"Specially designed as an innovative fun way to bring the Doge Community together to share their passion and love for Dogecoin. We will be giving back to the community by supporting and donating to both local & national charities."

The Dogepalooza website states that the community-run festival will take place in many cities and countries around the world. The very first event is scheduled for October 9, 2021, in the city of Sugarland, Texas. At the moment, several famous people have already confirmed their presence and participation in the festival. Legendary singer Dion Warwick, Grammy winner Damon Elliott, and classic piano player Chloe Flower will be at the event on October 9. In addition to live music, all Dogepalooza members will have access to snacks, drinks, and a product fair. It will also include an educational event to learn more about how to use Dogecoin.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk also expressed interest in this event, however, apparently, he will not be able to join. He will probably be attending the county fair in Giga Berlin, Germany, which is also scheduled for October 9.

In 2021, Dogecoin entered the top 10 cryptocurrencies, taking the seventh position in terms of market capitalization. This explosive growth occurred not least due to the fact that Elon Musk has repeatedly expressed support for the cryptocurrency and confirmed that he and his youngest son are its holders.
