Tesla FSD Full Self-Driving 5 to Rollout in a Few Days with Significant Improvements, Says Elon Musk

Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta continues to improve, impressing owners with even more functionality. In a few days, Tesla will present a new version--FSD Beta 5, which will have significant improvements.

The Tesla Autopilot team is constantly working hard to improve autonomous driving capabilities in order to provide more customers with FSD Beta access. According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, in a few days, a new version will be released, which will be significantly different from the one currently used by beta testers.

A few days ago, Musk talked about yet another new update coming soon. This will be a special release and will feature many major improvements. In addition, important bugs identified during beta testing will be fixed and new features added. The best news is that, if the new release passes successful testing, Tesla will start rolling it out more widely.

FSD Beta opens up completely new boundaries of perception of how autonomous driving can truly be. Tesla owners, who received early access to the program, note that, even already, their vehicles are independently negotiating almost any situation on the road. Numerous videos confirm this experience, showing not only the smooth ride on the roads, but also how the FSD Beta handles various, more difficult road situations.

Not long ago, Musk stated that Tesla is already close to achieving level 5 autonomy. Understandably, this could be difficult to believe, but we are not yet able to see the full picture. We should not forget that, in fact, most of the action takes place behind the scenes, far from our eyes, though will soon enough be presented to the general public.
