Tesla opens its first store in Inner Mongolia as part of expanding in Northern China. It will complement 7 Supercharger stations and 13 destination charging stations to increase customer satisfaction with Tesla car ownership and attract new customers.

Tesla announced on June 8 that it had opened its first store in Inner Mongolia, stepping up its efforts in Northern China, CnEVPost reported. The new store is located near Haixi Road and Bayannaoer Road, Huimin District, Hohhot City. It will provide a wide range of services to customers, aiming to provide the highest level of satisfaction. In the store, customers will be able to order and accept car delivery, get advice on insurance and provisional licenses, and get car maintenance for clients in Hohhot and surrounding areas.

In addition, Tesla continues to expand its network of charging stations in order to provide its customers with the best car ownership experience. As of today, Tesla has 7 Supercharger stations with 47 stalls and 13 destination charging stations offering 23 charging piles in Inner Mongolia covering Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos, Wuhai, Chifeng, Tongliao, Wulanchabu, Bayannur, Hulunbuir, Wulanhot of Xing'an League and other cities.

Inner Mongolia continues to move towards its carbon footprint reduction targets and accordingly supports the development of the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry. To do this, the region requires the development of charging infrastructure, so all new residential areas must have chargers or facilities for future installations, and charging stations should be located along highways at a distance of 100 km (62 miles) from each other. Tesla's regional director for the northern region of China assured that the company will continue to expand its network of charging stations in Inner Mongolia to make it easier for more owners to travel across cities.
