Twitter Rolls Out Update with Cool New Features, Improving User Experience
Twitter rolled out an update for iOS users, adding cool new features that make it easier to use the platform while improving the quality of time spent on it. Easy bookmarks and lists available directly in your feeds are already on board, and exciting new features will be added in future updates.

On Friday, Twitter released a new update for iOS users that brings some handy and, for some users, much-needed features. One of the big ones was the ability to bookmark a tweet more easily than before. “Now on iOS, you can Bookmark a Tweet from the Tweet details — no more tap to share, tap to save. And when you Bookmark a Tweet, you can instantly access all of your saved Bookmarks,” the company announced.

Previously, using bookmarks was more difficult, so some users used likes for this purpose. However, while bookmarks are private, likes are public. It was the publicity that stopped some users from interacting with the tweets they were interested in. Now, the updated Bookmarks allow for easy tagging tweets without privacy worries, whereby the tweet will receive a “quiet like” which will be counted in the total number of likes, but the person who bookmarked the tweet will not be on the list of users who liked it.

Another large-scale and very convenient feature was the improvement of lists. The update introduces the ability to pin selected lists for quick access. After that, they will appear in your feeds as new tabs, next to the “For You” and “Following” tabs that appeared thanks to a recent update. A light swipe left/right will easily switch you between them. Ease of use greatly increases user satisfaction, making the time spent on Twitter really good.

In addition, in response to requests and comments from users, Elon Musk said that several additions to each of these features, as well as many other new features, are already being developed and will be introduced soon. Obviously, the goal of the platform is to provide great features that will satisfy the majority of its users. Here we see an example of Musk creating a quality product for a wide audience of users and intending to significantly improve the experience of using Twitter for all.
