Tesla Model 3 2021 receives the title of the highest-rated electric vehicle in the Edmunds' Top Rated EV comparison for the third year in a row. According to the automotive internet resource, Tesla's entry-level vehicle pulls off a hat trick.
Despite Edmunds' general dislike and prejudice against Tesla, which is easy to spot, the manufacturer's Model 3 becomes the Edmunds Top Rated EV. The internet resource recognizes that Tesla must be given credit because, despite the constant influx of new electric vehicles, its entry-level vehicle has been awarded the highest title for the third year in a row.
Edmunds notes that recent updates the car has received, such as wireless smartphone charging, extra range, and a new electric trunk, have helped keep the Model 3 fresh. In addition, the main advantages of the sedan are a quiet, spacious, and comfortable cabin. It's an impressively light and comfortable car that can be driven every day, Edmunds admits.
“Our three-time EV winner, the Model 3 still ranks above the rest thanks to its comfortable cabin, fun driving dynamics and Tesla's excellent charging infrastructure.”
In addition, it was noted that Model 3 is sharp in handling and has strong performance regardless of the elected trim. According to Edmunds' findings, the Model 3 Long Range has the longest range of any EV they've tested. In their standardized test, the Long Range traveled 345 miles on a full charge.
Also, Edmunds separately recognized the Tesla Supercharger network, which is the largest system of fast-charging stations in the world. This makes long trips in Model 3 much easier. All of this makes Tesla Model 3 a winner.
