Elon Musk works from morning to night seven days a week, selflessly developing his companies. He sacrifices his personal life and health in order to create products that will be useful to people and can change their lives for the better.
Elon Musk's dedication to work has been known for a long time, and anyone who has delved even a little into the history of Tesla and SpaceX knows this. For him, there is no difference between day or night, working hours or not—if necessary, he will solve problems as soon as they appear. At the time when Tesla launched the production of Model 3, he literally lived for three years in factories in Fremont and Nevada and even slept on the floor in the production hall at the factory.
“I was living in the factory in Fremont and Nevada for three years straight. It was my primary residence. I'm not kidding, literally. I actually slept on a couch in a tent on the roof at one point. And for a while there I was just sleeping under my desk, which is out in the open in the factory for an important reason. And it was damn uncomfortable on that floor, and when I woke up, I would smell like metal dust,”Musk said at the 29th Annual Baron Investment Conference, on November 4, 2022, in NYC.
Now Tesla and SpaceX are doing much better, although there is still a lot of work ahead. These are two successful companies that are changing the world. However, Musk, who has personally faced censorship and media manipulation against him, knows the value of free speech. In order to open up free speech to as many people as possible, he bought Twitter and is now actively involved in its transformation.
“I have too much work on my plate, that’s for sure,” Musk said Monday, responding to questions during a session at the B20 in Indonesia, a business conference running alongside the G20 meeting in Bali this week. “I'm working the absolute most that I can work -- morning to night, seven days a week.”
Since Musk bought Twitter about two weeks ago, he has already spent a few nights at work in Twitter's San Francisco HQ. The new Twit Chief is trying to quickly change the platform, making various changes. Musk's dedication to work is on a whole new level.
“The amount that I torture myself is next level, frankly,” he said at the G20 summit.
