Tesla expands the non-Tesla Supercharging Pilot Program to Türkiye. After the program was also launched in the US and mainland China, it is already operating in 19 countries around the world.

Tesla continues to expand support for electric vehicle owners. This time the company opened a pilot program in Türkiye, which was noticed by InsideEVs. With this step, Tesla is making an important contribution to the development of electric vehicles. Türkiye has become the 19th country in the list of countries where the company has already launched the non-Tesla Supercharging Pilot Program. At the moment, there are only four Superchargers that are open to all electric vehicles.

The opening of Superchargers in yet another market marks the company's ongoing support for the development of electric vehicles and confirms the company's efforts to fulfill its mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Access to an extensive, convenient, and reliable fast-charging network is critical to the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. Today, the company has more than 45,000 Supercharger stalls worldwide, so it is more aggressive in making them available to non-Tesla EVs. More customers using the Supercharger network also enable faster expansion of the entire network.

Since January 2023, in addition to the 16 countries that had charging stations already opened under the non-Tesla Supercharging Pilot Program, three have been added. The program has spread to the US, mainland China, and now Türkiye. The non-Tesla Supercharger pilot is currently available for Supercharging stations in the following countries:

  • United States
  • Australia
  • The Netherlands
  • France
  • Norway
  • Germany
  • UK
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Belgium
  • Austria
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Luxembourg
  • Switzerland
  • Iceland
  • Italy
  • Mainland China
  • Türkiye
