Tesla's Q4 2020 Earnings Report was full of highlights, however something went completely unnoticed. It seems that Tesla has put some "Future Product" into the roadmap for 2021, although no other details have been disclosed.

As usual, Tesla drew up a table listing all of its auto products, where they were produced, their production capacity, and status. At the very bottom, you can see that Tesla has indicated the Future Product. And although at the moment the place and the annual volume of its production are not indicated, the fact that the company included this Product in its report speaks volumes.

We know that Tesla intends to develop and create a new, affordable compact electric vehicle. Tesla CEO Elon Musk first spoke about a $25,000 car during Battery Day, in September 2020. He said that the new car model will be developed within three years. During the Q4 2020 Earnings Call, he confirmed this forecast but pointed out that more flexible timing needs to be considered. Thus, the release of this model may take place in four years.

In early January 2021, the Chinese media reported that Tesla had already developed a prototype of a compact EV costing about $25,000. It was indicated that the car will be produced and delivered in 2022. But this information does not agree with what Musk said, although it is quite possible that he is simply hiding information in order to surprise the world later. Be that as it may, the new compact model is one of the most likely contenders for the place of what has been called "Future Product," however there is more.

Focusing on an affordable car, we forget about the Tesla ATV. Cyberquad was unveiled alongside the iconic Cybertruck in November 2019. At Battery Day 2020, Musk unveiled the Cyberquad prototype to investors, and announced that it will be available as an optional accessory for the Cybertruck in late 2021.

This information provides an interesting hint, and can help us complete the whole picture. Considering that Cybertruck--as well as Cyberquad (according to the announcement dates)--will be released before the future compact and affordable Tesla model, it becomes more and more obvious that the "Future Product" is Cyberquad. Tesla may also have another product, however it seems unlikely that it appeared in the company's announced plan even before the two previously announced products appeared there.
