Tesla Cybertruck, which will undergo a few changes, is due to be produced in 2022 at Giga Texas, subsequent to Model Y. At the moment, the company is making progress on the industrialization of its coveted pickup truck.

Customers and investors are eagerly awaiting the launch of the iconic Cybertruck, which has captured the hearts of millions of people. In its Q3 2021 earnings report, Tesla provided an update to clarify the launch of production. Earlier, CEO Elon Musk had already announced that the production of the pickup truck would be postponed to 2022 due to a number of circumstances, but he did not give any more specific details.

Tesla wrote in its earnings report that it was "making progress on the industrialization of Cybertruck, which is currently planned for Austin production subsequent to Model Y." This means that the company has made progress with the pickup truck and will soon be ready to start production. In parallel with this, the indication that it will begin subsequent to Model Y makes it clear to customers and investors that they should not worry that production does not start right now, and it will follow only after the start of production of Model Y.

Recently, some changes to Cybertruck became clearer. Among other minor changes, the company installed two headlights on the front bumper and side mirrors to comply with regulations. However, Musk said the side mirrors can easily be removed by owners. In addition, the company began testing Cybertruck equipped with 4-wheel steering; this is a handy feature that makes tight turns possible, and to maneuver in general with high agility.

Also yesterday, Tesla was seen launching a waiting list for testing Model S, X, and Cybertruck. In the proposed form, you can choose a car model for testing, as well as leave your contact information. As soon as the vehicle is available for testing, the Tesla team will contact you. The addition of Cybertruck to the list indicates that the company has made great progress with its electric pickup and will soon be able to provide customers with the opportunity to get to know it better.
