All Tesla vehicles delivered by the end of December 31, 2020, will receive an additional New Year's gift. Owners, who receive delivery in 2020 will get three months of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) for free. You still have about three days to get this unique opportunity.

Just now, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced via Twitter that all customers who accept delivery of their car from now until midnight on December 31 will receive three months of free use of FSD. This is great news, and a terrific New Year's gift for those expecting the delivery of their Tesla.

In Q4, Tesla strives to do something that requires incredible efforts from every team member and from all those supporting the company. Tesla is aiming to deliver 500,000 vehicles in 2020, despite COVID-19, which this year brought its factories to a standstill for a total of two months. For the goal to be achieved, Tesla must deliver ~181,000 vehicles in Q4.

Apparently, the company has already reached the production of this number of vehicles, however, they have yet to be delivered. Due to the holidays, some customers may not be in a hurry to receive the delivery of their car, and may have postponed it to early 2021. But, three months of free use of FSD should be a great incentive to rush to do it in 2020.

In addition, this move hints that Tesla is likely ready to offer the FSD monthly Subscription, which seems will be rolled out soon.

FSD is an incredibly useful feature that can make driving a lot easier. However, it is currently priced at $10,000, which may be too expensive for some Tesla owners. Musk already wrote in October that the company will introduce the possibility of using FSD by Subscription. It has also been noticed that Tesla has added a new 'Subscribe' button in the updates section of the owner's accounts online. The new and limited three month trial of FSD announced by Musk today confirms that the company is ready to launch the new service.
