Tesla Giga Berlin has hit a milestone of producing 4,000 Model Ys a week. The factory reached a new production capacity last week, which means the growth from 3,000 units per week to 4,000 units per week occurred in just two months.
In recent weeks, Tesmanian has repeatedly received information that the increase in production at Giga Berlin is proceeding at a rapid pace. We reported that the production capacity was well above 3,000 units per week but still fell short of the 4,000 units mark. However, now the company has shared great news: Giga Berlin has reached the production milestone of 4,000 Model Ys per week.

According to information received by Tesmanian, this happened on Saturday. That is, in fact, it included a working week from Monday, February 20, to Saturday, February 25. This also means that Giga Berlin was able to add production of 1,000 units per week in just two months. It is worth bearing in mind that the factory only operates five days a week, and some workshops work six days a week. Considering this, this result becomes even more impressive.
On December 18, 2022, Giga Berlin announced that it had reached a production capacity of 3,000 Model Ys per week. Before that, the production capacity of 2,000 units per week was reached on October 1. This indicates that the factory is ramping up production more and more rapidly, which means that in the next couple of months, it will reach a production capacity of 5,000 units per week.
