According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, some of the best works of art in the world were created in China, so he believes that projects created in China will also be popular around the world. The Chinese have always been distinguished by originality, speed and intelligence, so China is a great place to develop, create and implement the most original and unexpected solutions.

At the ceremony of delivery the first MIC Model 3s to its owners, which was held on January 7, 2020 in Shanghai, Musk also announced that Tesla plans to create its own design and research center in China, where company will create a car for the whole world. Musk said:

“Something that would be super cool ... so we’re going to do it ... is to try to create a China design and engineering center to actually design an original car in China for worldwide consumption. I think this will be very exciting."

Now, Tesla's official WeChat account posted an announcement on the WeChat social network calling for joining the team and helping the company create Chinese-style car. Recruiting talented people who can help in developing and creating the Chinese style Tesla Model (possibly Model C), integrate the most beautiful Chinese art into the future of Tesla.

“Even if you are not a car designer, you are welcome to submit. It’s more than just a car designed for you," Tesla stated. “Please think of China in your Tesla design work.”

In January Tesla China used the image of a new interesting concept car. We have not seen anything like it before. Will Tesla develop something similar in the new Chinese R&D center or is it just a picture that has nothing to do with future Tesla projects, we don’t know. But the results of the work of the Chinese R&D center, surely will be as amazing as the whole Shanghai project.
