Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy by designing, manufacturing, selling, and servicing the world's best solar technology, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles. These technologies provide customers with the ability to generate, store, and consume energy in a completely sustainable manner. At the moment, Tesla is expanding its energy business, as evidenced by the emergence of new positions related to Service & Energy Installation in Europe.
A few days ago, Tesla posted recruitment for the Field Service Technicians on its website. The company is looking for specialists in Athens (Greece), Corsica (France), and Zagreb (Croatia).
The job description says "Tesla Infrastructure team is looking to hire a Field Service Technician in Athens, to provide diagnostic support during the installation and servicing of our energy storage products."
Individuals in these positions will be required to visit facilities as needed to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial facility repairs using Tesla's cutting-edge products, which may be either under construction or in existence.
Among others, responsibilities include:
- Primary interface of Tesla's Network Operations Centers to authorized contractors who perform maintenance on their stationary storage products.
- Oversee commissioning, service, testing, and verification actions performed by Tesla's service provider network, troubleshooting devices as well as entire industrial systems (Powerpacks).
- Debugging systems and perform remote diagnostics on-field failures by reviewing data logged by energy storage devices.
Tesla is rapidly expanding its Energy business, therefore it has expanded its recruitment in various parts of the world. The company's energy storage systems continue to gain immense popularity, and 2021 will further unlock Tesla's potential for development in this market. Europe is a huge market for energy storage systems, as the region is keen to move towards renewable energy sources.
