Tesla merch is available with DOGE, Elon Musk reminded. He also added that it will be possible to pay for SpaceX merch too with this crypto coin.

In December 2021, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the company is going to make the purchase of certain products in its store possible using the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE). The move was meant to help test the integration of cryptocurrencies into the company's operations and provide more options for some customers who prefer to pay for their purchases with digital money. As early as January 2022, the company made good on its promise and started accepting DOGE as payment for some of its merchandise.

Today Musk reminded that “Tesla merch can be bought with Doge.” At the moment, on the website, you can find several products that can be purchased for cryptocurrency, such as Cyberwhistle or Cybertruck Graffiti Cuffiti. However, other items are still sold in US dollars.

Another major announcement was that SpaceX merch will also be available for DOGE soon. This is exciting news, as cryptocurrency is a very convenient payment method with which you can buy amazing products from Musk's space company. Personally, I am looking forward to when this happens to add them to my collection. However, the head of the company also made it clear that paying for Starlink services using DOGE will not be available soon, although he did not rule out this possibility “one day.”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a longtime supporter of DOGE. He believes that the meme coin is the best option for fast transactions. Musk explained that BTC is the main engine in the crypto market, but the volume of transactions is small and their cost is high. BTC can function as a store of value at its basic level, but is not suitable for daily use and the purchase of various goods.

Meanwhile, DOGE, which was originally created as a joke, is better suited for transactions. The transaction flow of the coin is higher than BTC as it can process more transactions per day. Musk agreed that DOGE is slightly inflationary but argued that its inflationary number is fixed, and the percentage is not. With this theory, he believes the percentage of inflation decreases over time, encouraging people to spend DOGE instead of hoarding it as a store of value.
