Tesla car safety is the pride of the company. It is the most important part of the overall design. The metal structure is a combination of aluminum and steel, for maximum strength in every area. A Tesla Model 3 recently proved that it's worthy of its 5-star safety rating, following a collision with a tree.

Photos posted on Facebook showing the red Model 3, which suffered significant collision damage, received a lot of attention. In the photos, it was possible to see that the car crashed into a tree, and its front was significantly destroyed. Under the pictures, the driver wrote that he was not seriously injured, and was able to leave the place of the accident on his own power, having received only a few bruises from the seat belt.

The driver told teslamag.de in response to an inquiry that he pulled off the road at 55 mph and crashed into a tree on the side of the road. The impact was so strong that all the airbags in the car deployed, and the car was severely damaged in the front, though less so in the rear. Thanks to the front frame and the large compression zone, which perfectly absorbed the force of impact, the driver was not injured, and was able to walk away from the crash.

It is noted that, even after severe damage to the front of the car, the front doors were not deformed, which means that passengers in such situations can easily get out of the car without the help of rescuers. The rescuers who arrived at the scene were surprised by what they saw, because usually, after such accidents, passengers are seriously injured, and the vehicle is so deformed that the occupants cannot leave the car without help.

This crash validates the Model 3's 5-star safety rating. Tesla's affordable sedan received 5-star safety ratings from multiple organizations, like the NHTSA, IIHS, and Euro NCAP. This allowed the vehicle to impress safety agencies across several parts of the world, including North America, Europe, and Australia.

The constant painstaking work of Tesla has amazing results because the safety of car passengers and other road users is a priority. It is Tesla who cares about this safety and is constantly developing and improving various systems that not only protect passengers in an accident, but also prevent the occurrences of crashes altogether.
