Tesla may launch Model S Plaid sales in China in early spring 2022, according to Elon Musk's statement on Twitter. Due to a global shortage of components, the manufacturer can not roll out sales of the sedan around the world as quickly as planned.

Since Model S Plaid is an incredibly cool vehicle with very impressive performance, customers around the world are eagerly awaiting sales in their countries. Due to the global shortage of components, and in particular chips, Tesla cannot roll out sales of the sedan as quickly as originally planned. However, the problem is gradually being addressed and will likely have less of an impact on production next year. This will enable the company to expand production of Model S Plaid and begin shipping outside of the United States. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, responding to a question from @JayinShanghai/Twitter on Twitter, said that sales of Model S Plaid could be launched in China in March 2022.

China is the largest electric vehicle market in the world, so the launch of Model S Plaid is essential there. Tesla cars are very popular in China, and this high-performance sedan would surely be highly coveted. Model S Plaid has a range of up to 396 miles, can reach speeds of up to 200 mph, and accelerate to 60 mph in less than 2 seconds, making it the fastest production car in the world.
