Tesla Model Y continues to conquer the Chinese market. In October, the American manufacturer's electric compact SUV became the best-selling SUV, surpassing sales of even the most popular ICE manufacturers in the world.
The Chinese market continues to embrace Tesla Model Y with a special love. In October, the car became the best-selling SUV in China, surpassing even the ICE models of the world's most popular manufacturers. Tesla registered 13,303 Model Ys last month, which are now on the country's roads. In second place is the Mercedes-Benz GLS with 12,620 registrations. Despite the recovery in the automotive market, compared to 2020, sales of the gas-powered SUV show a decrease of 10.7% compared to the same period last year. In third place is the BMW X3 with 11,243 registrations, which also shows a 21.7% decrease in sales compared to the same period last year.

Reducing prices and releasing cheaper versions of Teslaโs cars has always caused a rapid increase in orders. Released this summer, the Tesla Standard Range has received many new orders in China. Currently, the estimated delivery time for Model Y SR is 10-14 weeks. In fact, this means that orders will be completed in early 2022.
