The new delivery center is located near Xiedao (Crab Island) resort in northeast Beijing. Inside there are many parking spaces for cars, some of which are equipped with chargers. In addition, there are waiting rooms and lounges equipped with massage chairs. The delivery center is expected to become an important distribution point for Tesla products and a gathering point for customers from China and throughout Asia.
Here Tesla uses an intelligent delivery system—Delivery Vision—that can allocate human resources at the delivery point, increase delivery speed, and help car owners confirm estimated delivery times.
In honor of the opening of the new delivery center, a ceremony was held, which was attended by the Vice President of Tesla in China, Grace Tao. She said the company will continue to delve deeper into the Chinese market to help the country meet its carbon targets and become carbon neutral as soon as possible.
