Tesla Owners Clubs in China banded together and organized pop-up markets all over the nation, showing their support for the national government and its efforts to increase the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The open markets were a sight to behold. Based on the pictures and videos (seen below), the markets were filled with camaraderie and spirit.

The People's Republic of China issued a series of monetary policies recently to stimulate the domestic economy and help small to micro-businesses. For example, the People's Bank of China was allotted about RMB¥400 billion (~US$56.2 billion) re-lending quota "to purchase 40% of inclusive loans to small and micro businesses issued by local banks from March 1 to December 31," reported CGTN. The national government's focus on boosting GDP comes in the wake of the global pandemic, which has affected the local economy.

Tesla Owners Clubs (TOC) in China supported the national government's efforts through multiple pop-up markets throughout the nation. According to Tesmanian sources, the markets were held in some first-tier cities--Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen--and a few second-tier cities. The purpose of the markets was to give small and micro-businesses a place to showcase their products and services.

Different branches held their markets during the weekends. Although it wasn't a simultaneous event, the TOCs in China did communicate with each other to organize the different pop-up markets. Each market was unique and showcased the specific flavors of the cities they were held in, based on the pictures.

The pictures show many TOC China members in China actively participating in the pop-up markets with their vehicles--the notable favorite being the Tesla Model X with its falcon-wing doors. Instead of stalls or tents--as is usual in an Asian market--each car was decorated with the local business's wares, ads, and posters.

TOC China members didn't just showcase their support for the national government with their pop-up markets. They also displayed their proactive nature, a trait that can be found in most--if not all--Tesla supporters/enthusiasts.

Indeed Tesla Owners' Clubs appear to be some of the most active groups brought together by a single automaker. They are a testament to the company's core values and main mission.
