It looks like Tesla has every chance of reaching a new record in the number of deliveries in Q3 2020. At the moment, deliveries continue to grow around the world. On the roads, you can find many trucks loaded with Tesla cars on the way to delivery centers. Tesla Semi has also joined the delivery team.
Photos taken by Tesmanian's reader show that the Semi is being loaded with Tesla vehicles. The company's electric truck is parked at its Fremont factory.

The company now has a very tight schedule: there’s only a day and a half left to deliver the maximum possible number of cars. It seems that Tesla's CEO is very optimistic on deliveries as Q3 draws to an end. In a leaked internal email, he wrote:
"We have a shot at a record quarter for vehicle deliveries, but will have to rally hard to achieve it. This is the most number of vehicles per day that we've ever had to deliver."
Earlier this month, The matte red Tesla Semi was spotted on the highway in San Jose with a trailer. There is a Mabury Tesla shop in this area, so there is a possibility that the electric semi truck left this location. Recently, during the Q2 2020 Earnings Call, Tesla's Automotive President Jerome Guillen said the company is already using two Semis for its own needs.
In June, a leaked email from Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that the company would soon begin mass production of Semi. "It's time to go all out and bring the Tesla Semi to volume production. It's been in limited production so far, which has allowed us to improve many aspects of the design," wrote Musk.
During the announcement of Q2 2020 results and in a letter to Tesla shareholders, the company confirmed its intentions. Musk said the Semi will be manufactured at Giga Texas. The letter to Tesla shareholders also states that Tesla Semi deliveries will begin in 2021. This means that the company has a clear plan for the completion of the new plant in 2021.

According to the documents that Tesla included in the “Travis County Colorado River Project Partner Pre-Qualification Presentation,” the first substantial completion of Giga Texas is scheduled for May 1, 2021.
