Tesla Wireless Charging Platform Receives Praise for Superior Quality

The Tesla Wireless Charging Platform is being praised for its superior quality, which is arguably the best on the market today. It is built like a tank, concluded famous YouTuber Marques Brownlee (MKBHD).

In December 2022, Tesla has announced the launch of the Wireless Charging Platform, a wireless charger capable of simultaneously charging up to three Qi devices. The concept is somewhat similar to AirPower, which Apple wanted to create. Tesla Wireless Charging Platform provides 15W of fast charging power per device for up to three devices simultaneously, which is a very attractive and convenient feature.

The angular design and metallic styling were inspired by Cybertruck. The Wireless Charging Platform features a sleek design composed of an aluminum housing, a premium alcantara surface on which to place devices for charging, and a detachable magnetic stand that can be used for charging flat or at an angle. The platform costs $300 and the first deliveries have already begun.

Renowned Youtuber Marques Brownlee aka MKBHD recently got one and shared his feedback with the public. He was really impressed with the Tesla product. In the description of the video posted on Twitter, he wrote: “Tesla's wireless charger is built like a tank.” Brownlee was pleased with how the charger performed. He emphasized that this is due to FreePower technology, which allows any device to be charged on the platform without any precise alignment. This is technology from Aira that has been used in other wireless charging platforms such as Nomad's Base Station Pro. Brownlee also noted that the Tesla Wireless Charging Platform is arguably the best build-quality wireless charger on the market or at least the best he has ever used.
