Tesla added 32 Superchargers and 120 stalls in mainland China in June. The company offers over 1,200 Supercharger stations there with over 8,700 stalls.

In June 2022, Tesla added 32 new Supercharger stations with 120 stalls in 25 cities in mainland China, as announced in a message posted today on its WeChat account. Of  these, 28 were V3 Superchargers and four were V2 Superchargers in cities including Harbin, Tianjin, Chongqing, Chengdu, Foshan, and Danzhou. This rate of deployment of charging stations is high, which is also in line with the rate at which Chinese consumers are buying Tesla vehicles.

In addition, Tesla has made announcements about its future plans. The company said that in July it will add Superchargers in 26 cities, including Nanjing, Zhongshan, Qingdao, and Nanning. Thus, it is clear that the number will be at least 26. The exact number of Supercharger stations and stalls has not been announced.

To date, Tesla has opened a total of over 35,000 Supercharger stalls around the world. Over 1,200 of them are located in mainland China and offer over 8,700 stalls. The 35,000th stall was opened on June 10 at a Tesla service center in Wuhan, Hubei province, in central China. China is one of the most rapidly developing regions in the world, where the manufacturer places particular emphasis on the development of charging infrastructure.
