Tesla expands the non-Tesla Supercharger pilot program to Australia, the first country outside of Europe. In total, the program is already active in 16 countries around the world.

Tesla continues to expand support for electric vehicle owners. This time, the company opened a pilot program in Australia, the first market outside of Europe. The Australian government is not very friendly to supporting the spread of EVs in the country, so Tesla is making a significant contribution with this step. This is where EV owners can benefit greatly, as Australia is actively developing energy from renewable energy sources.

The opening of Superchargers in Australia marks continued support for the development of the electric vehicle market and confirms the company's efforts to fulfill its mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. Access to an extensive, convenient, and reliable fast-charging network is critical to the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. Today, the company has more than 40,000 Supercharger stalls around the world, so it is more actively making them available to non-Tesla electric vehicles. More customers using the Supercharger network also ensures faster expansion of the entire network.

The non-Tesla Supercharger pilot is currently available for Supercharging stations in the following countries:
  • Australia
  • France
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • United Kingdom
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Belgium
  • Austria
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Germany

  • Italy

The Non-Tesla Supercharger pilot is currently limited to EV drivers who live in the following countries:
