Tesla is installing its first Supercharger for non-Tesla electric vehicles in the US and it is located in Verona, New York. The company is stepping up its efforts to meet government commitments and promote the widespread adoption of EVs in North America.
Tesla is moving forward with plans to open part of its Supercharger network to all electric vehicles in the US. A few hours ago, u/Fxsx24/Reddit shared some interesting information (via @MarcoRPTesla/Twitter). He managed to photograph the preparation of one of the company's Superchargers for the opening to non-Tesla electric vehicles. u/Fxsx24 photographed how the company's employees installed the appropriate information signs with a QR code and Magic Docks.

This Supercharger station is located at 5218 Patrick Rd, Verona, New York. It is only two hours from Giga New York in Buffalo, where Tesla makes Superchargers. Obviously, the company and employees of the facility are testing new equipment before making the network available to all electric vehicle owners in the US. At the moment, the charging station is not yet active for non-Tesla EVs.
By the end of next year, Tesla plans to make available 7,500 Supercharger stations—between new and current ones—on highways and at hotels and restaurants, according to the Office of the President. The discussion of this move during a virtual call, with the participation of Musk and CEOs of other companies, began back in April 2022. Tesla also confirmed that it would open up part of its branded charging network to all electric vehicles to encourage their widespread adoption.
