Tesla again pleases its customers with a surprise for an event. For Memorial Day, the company is giving away free weekend charging during off-peak hours at Superchargers, which are located along several routes in the United States.

Tesla is known for its generosity, as it periodically offers its customers free charging or other gifts. This usually happens when the manufacturer wants to help consumers or please them for holidays and events. May 30, the United States will celebrate Memorial Day, and so the manufacturer will provide free charging for the weekend. Americans will be able to visit their loved ones and friends to commemorate fallen soldiers together, without spending money on charging their Tesla cars.

The company said that free charging will be provided during off-peak hours, that is, before 10 AM and after 7 PM. Apart from being a nice surprise for customers, it will also help offload traffic on the Superchargers during the day and make charging a more enjoyable experience for customers. The offer is valid from Friday, May 27, 2022, to Monday, May 30, 2022.

Free Supercharging will not be available everywhere, but only on certain routes that pass through eight U.S. states. These include Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The largest number of free Superchargers are in California, with 28 of them. This is due to the fact that residents of the state are the most active fans of Tesla, and the manufacturer's car ownership percentage there is the highest in the country.
