The Cybertruck is undoubtedly one of the most coveted cars in the world, if not the most coveted, with more than one million pre-orders awaiting production. Elon Musk, meanwhile, adds even more hot details about the pickup truck and calls it Tesla's “best product ever.”
Cybertruck's production start is delayed due to supply chain challenges facing the global automotive industry. However, Tesla has taken advantage of this to further refine the pickup truck and it looks like something truly incredible and unique awaits us once the first units are delivered.
Two years after the presentation, Cybertruck has received many updates that relate to its “stuffing.” All of them make it not just a cool vehicle for daily use, but a versatile transport unit capable of performing any task, from boring city driving to cool adventures in extreme off-road conditions. All this, according to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, makes Cybertruck worthy of such a long wait, he said during the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit.
The head of the company reiterated that Cybertruck will have many new technologies developed by Tesla. For example, he recently revealed that the electric pickup will have four motors and will be able to move diagonally like a crab. Musk said Cybertruck is probably one of those rare products that only comes once in a while. He also said that all the new technologies make its production very difficult, but well worth it. Of course, he did not share details about other new technologies used in it but promised that he would definitely share more during the Q4 2021 Earnings Call.
“The Cybertruck is gonna be an incredible рroduct. I think it may be our best рroduct ever. I think it рrobably will be. It has a lot of new technology, so it's hard to make. I bet it will be awesome. I think I’ve said before, but we’re aiming for volume production in 2023. I will provide more detailed product updates on the Tesla Earnings Call early next year. I wish it could be sooner, but that's most likely when it happens. It will be something really special, like one of those rare products that happens once in a while that is really special.”
