Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk will attend the China Development Forum (CDF) 2021, which will be held on March 20-22, 2021. As one of the brightest representatives of the world of technology, as well as the head of a company that is fighting against climate change, Musk will fit perfectly into the theme of the conference: "China on a New Journey of Modernization.”
Approved by the State Council, the annual session of the China Development Forum (CDF) 2021 will be hosted online and onsite by the Development Research Center of the State Council of China on March 20-22, 2021 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. With "China on a New Journey of Modernization" as its theme, this year's CDF will address key topical issues, including the digital technology revolution, global technological innovation, promoting prosperity for all, carbon peak and carbon neutral, digital currency, China's economic dual circulation and new opportunities for multinational corporations, and promoting worldwide equitable access to vaccines.
One of the biggest features of CDF 2021 is its rich mix of formats. 11 sessions by invitation only, seven venues at the Economic Summit, and over 40 formal events in the form of plenary sessions, closed-door round tables, parallel sessions, and in-depth dialogue.
Topics will center around the 14th Five-Year Plan, New Phase, New Concepts, New Models, Sino-US Relations, Intellectual Property Protection, Global Public Health, Technological Innovation, Green Transformation, Rural Revitalization, and others. To date, over 130 foreign delegates have confirmed their participation in CDF 2021, the largest number ever to attend its annual meeting. Elon Musk is included in the list of the main representatives of foreign companies.
