Jay Leno continues to tease us with details from his meeting with Elon Musk. Tesla Cybertruck and Cyberquad will appear in the Jay Leno’s Garage on May 27.
“He was terrific,” says Leno about Musk, who had a fascinating conversation with him during the filming of the episode. Tesla CEO also has positive emotions after this meeting. In fact, he was very surprised at how much Leno knows about cars.
Jay *really* knows cars! Next-level.— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 22, 2020
In addition to discussing Cybertruck, and demonstrating The Boring Company's tunnel, the guys discussed Roadster 2.0. According to Musk, the car will have rocket thrusters. Tesla will offer a special option with SpaceX cold gas thrusters on the upcoming Roadster.
This option will use SpaceX cold gas thruster system with ultra high-pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats.
SpaceX option package for new Tesla Roadster will include ~ 10 small rocket thrusters arranged seamlessly around car. These rocket engines dramatically improve acceleration, top speed, braking & cornering.
Well, after such amazing details, who would not want to have a Roadster?
