Tesla Giga Berlin received early permission for further installation of chimneys and extension of working hours for special works, which will allow the company to actively prepare the factory for production.

Tesla received the 14th preliminary authorization for Giga Berlin. Since the roof of the factory is already fully installed, the company can carry out the final exterior work on it. This permit includes the installation of the rest of the chimneys in the Paint Shop area, in the Casting, in the Body in White, and in the General Assembly.

In addition, the permit allows the company to extend the permissible hours for the installation of equipment and technical systems of the building inside the building up to 24 hours a day. This permit applies to work in the Press Shop, Casting, Paint Shop, Body in White, General Assembly, and the buildings of the centralized supply and disposal. The permit is valid until September 15, 2021, which means that the company intends to complete a number of internal works by this date.
