Tesla Giga Shanghai May Start Factory Tours for Visitors, China VP Suggests

Built in record time and surprising the whole world with an incredibly high rate of increase in production, Tesla's factory in China has become a success story and has attracted the attention of the whole world. In order to become even more open to the public, it seems that the leaders of Giga Shanghai are planning to open the factory for tours that will help everyone get acquainted with the latest production processes.

Responding to a post from a Weibo user who suggested that it would be great if one day the company would allow Tesla owners to visit the factory, Tesla China Vice President Grace Tao wrote that they were already planning it. This response indicates that the manufacturer wants to become more open to the public in China. This intention is a continuation of the recent few tours of journalists to the factory.

From the very beginning of construction, Giga Shanghai was attacked by American journalists who tried to convince readers that in fact the factory was not being built, and all the actions that had been taking place on the construction site were staging, and not real construction. During many months of construction, they continued to lie, sowing doubts in the minds of people about Tesla's success. After Giga Shanghai started operating, some Chinese media also published articles with false accusations about the inappropriate working conditions in the factory and its low technology. In response to all the false statements, Giga Shanghai opened its doors to local journalists whose reports we have seen lately. So they were able to see with their own eyes how the work in the factory is actually arranged and the production process takes place.

The opening of Giga Shanghai to the general public will be the next step to show that Tesla operates and holds itself to the highest standards and uses innovative technologies.
