Tesla Is #1 In Transportation Among World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies 2020

Tesla took 3rd place in the ranking of the most innovative companies in the world, becoming the only automaker to get on this list and 1st place in the ranking of the most innovative transport companies in the world.

Innovation in its modern meaning is "a new idea, creative thoughts, new imaginations in form of device or method". Such innovation takes place through the provision of more-effective products, processes, services, technologies, or business models that are made available to markets, governments and society. An innovation is something original and more effective and, as a consequence, new, that "breaks into" the market or society.

Innovative companies are organizations whose activities are directly related to high-tech production. Today, there are many innovative companies that make our life better.

This year, Fast Company editors and writers sought innovative business in 44 sectors, including all regions of the world. They evaluated each company for a combination of innovation and influence, focusing on what was achieved last year. In total, 434 organizations were considered, but among them the 50 most innovative were selected.

This annual ranking of enterprises, which have the most profound effect on both industry and culture, demonstrates various ways of prosperity in today's unstable world.

According to this study, Tesla was included in the list of the 50 most innovative companies in the world. It should be noted that the company took 3rd place, which once again emphasizes the contribution that it makes to the development of our world.

"After estimating it would deliver at least 360,000 vehicles last year, Tesla delivered 367,500. That's double the number of cars it sold in the previous two years combined. And with that, a company built on a battery-powered wing and a billionaire's prayer finally became a mass-market automaker."

Over the past decade, many solutions have been proposed to eliminate environmental losses in transport: electrification, public transport and alternative vehicles have been proposed as solutions.

Thanks to the main goal of Tesla, in addition to the fact that the automaker took 3rd place in the overall ranking of innovative companies, it took 1st place in the ranking of the most innovative transport companies.

The Fast Company notes that:

• Tesla was able to deliver a record number of cars for 2019 and began to make a profit;
• last year, Tesla opened a new factory in China and began deliveries cars to the world's largest electric car market;
• the company continues to create amazing products such as Cybertruck.

The contribution of the California automaker is hard to overestimate. Tesla cars are a disruption of modern transportation. The technologies that the company uses in its cars are several years ahead of all modern developments. Also Tesla has made incredible strides in battery development, making it a leader in the field.
