Tesla Fremont Is Restarting Production Today With CEO Elon Musk In The Frontline

The situation with the Tesla factory in Fremont is becoming increasingly tense. Alameda County, contrary to a statement by California Governor Gavin Newsom, forbade the automaker to open.

To date, Tesla is the only automaker in the United States who has not been allowed to begin a gradual resumption of work. The situation worsened together even more when CA Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez tweeted a message addressed to Tesla CEO Elon Musk that contained foul language.

Alameda County, drawing on the findings of an unselected interim public health officer, banned opening a Tesla factory, contrary to the Governor, the President, and Constitutional freedoms. This led to the carmaker being forced to sue Alameda County.

Mr. Musk has just announced through Twitter that Tesla is resuming production today against the rules of Alameda County. He wrote that he will be on the line with everyone else, and if someone is arrested, he ask that it be only him.

On Monday, US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said California should do whatever is necessary to help the electric carmaker reopen its only US vehicle factory if it wants to keep the company in its state.

“California should prioritize doing whatever they need to do to solve those health issues so that he can open quickly and safely or ... he’s moving his production to a different state,” Mnuchin said in a CNBC interview.

Across America, even in states where the situation with Covid-19 was much more tense than in California, manufacturers, including all automakers, are beginning to gradually return to work. Even New York, which was most affected by the virus, begins a phased reopening, as Governor Andrew Cuomo said Monday.

That is why the logical question arises as to why Tesla cannot be re-opened?

Surely the answer to this question is much deeper than it might seem at first glance. All facts indicate that Covid-19 is only a cover in order to cause great damage to the electric car manufacturer, which is the only real threat to manufacturers of ICE cars.
