Tesla is testing the addition of a new Charge Stats feature to its App to help customers better manage energy consumption at their homes. The new feature gives access to information about how much energy is consumed by charging a car, home, and other household items powered by electricity.

Tesla is constantly striving to enhance the experience of using its products for customers, therefore, it is constantly improving them. Soon, the company's customers will receive a new feature in their Tesla App. A source told Tesmanian that some of the company's employees are currently testing the addition of the Charge Stats feature.

The new item will appear in the Tesla App menu and will become available soon. As you can see from the photo below, the new feature gives owners access to very important information. In particular, they will be able to find out what percentage of the electricity is used for home, charging the car, and charging other household items. This information is important in order to have a general understanding of electricity consumption. It will also demonstrate well that, in reality, charging a car uses a relatively small amount of energy from total daily consumption.

It is currently unknown when the new feature will be added to the App, but its appearance could significantly help in managing household energy consumption. The company's customers will now be able to clearly understand how electricity is distributed in their homes and, possibly, make adjustments as needed.
