Tesla Model 3 became the best-selling EV in Spain in June, thanks to strong shipments at the end of the month. Model Y is in third place, following the very popular in the country Fiat 500E.

As expected, Tesla cars became the EV market leaders in Spain in June, with two models in the top 3. During the month, the manufacturer's car registrations were quite strong, and a large shipment at the end of the month supported the result. Just four days before the end of June, a shipment of vehicles arrived at the port of Barcelona that included at least 400 vehicles. Obviously, the number of cars was greater, and only 400 of them were caught by the camera. Some of them also could be delivered to other European markets.

However, the total shipments for the month provided Tesla with the lead. Tesla Model 3 with 450 sales was the top-selling EV in Spain in June, according to EU-EVs data. Comparing the results from June 27 sales, it turns out that Tesla managed to sell another 92 Model 3 in four days. Far behind, the Fiat 500E is in second place with 301 registered units. Model Y with 249 units is firmly in third place. In fourth place is the Citroen E-C4 with 198 sales. Closing out the top 5 is Peugeot E-2008 with 140 units.

Spain continues to show an increase of interest in Tesla vehicles, which is a great development. The transition to electric vehicles is an important step toward reducing the harmful effects of human activities on the environment. Given Spain's potential for renewable energy, electric vehicles are the ideal choice for the local population.
