Thousands of Tesla Model 3 Highlands are already on their way to Europe. The region is set to be the first in the world to receive delivery of the updated vehicle. The first deliveries should start at the beginning of Q4.

Tesla began production of the updated Model 3 in Giga Shanghai sometime in mid-August. Since drone flights over the factory are banned, it is impossible to obtain more detailed information about this. However, Wu Wa watches the activity in the Shanghai port from which Tesla ships cars to overseas markets.

Wu Wa said that immediately after production began, Giga Shanghai produced cars in small batches and distributed them to different warehouses. However, after receiving approval from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the factory significantly increased production. Last week, thousands of updated Model 3s were spotted at the port of Nankang. The shape of their license plates and European Union logos indicated that they would be shipped to Europe.

Wu Wa shared an update again. According to them, the vehicle carrier CRYSTAL RAY with Tesla Model 3 onboard has already set off. According to tracking data from the website, it began its journey on September 17 and should arrive at Suez Port, Egypt, by October 6. This vessel can transport more than 2,000 cars at a time.

According to Tesla's website, the first deliveries of the new Model 3 are expected in October-November. This is the earliest date known so far. For example, the delivery date in China is vague, just Q4. This may hint that Tesla will first send the Model 3 for delivery to Europe, and only in the second half of the quarter will begin production for China and nearby countries.
