Stopping production at the company's factory in the United States did not allow to produce so many cars to match the demand. So in Sweden, in June only 312 Model 3 could be delivered, which still did not prevent the Tesla Model 3 from becoming the best-selling BEV in the country.
Swedish plug-in market is recovering, up to 86% YoY, to 6,391 registrations, with June scoring a 26% share for plugins, in line with the 2020 PEV share, of 26%. Currently, BEVs represent 28% of plugin sales, with 7% share of the total market (up 2% regarding the same period last year).

Tesla Model 3 became the best-selling BEV, selling 312 units. Renault Zoe sold 299 units in June, which allowed it to take 2nd place, while the Audi e-Tron took 3rd place, selling 218 units. Kia Niro EV, Hyundai Kona EV, and Nissan Leaf sold 129, 100, and 84 units, respectively.
At the moment, Tesla's Fremont factory, which also produces cars for the European market, has returned to full operational efficiency. The demand for the company's cars remains high, which will undoubtedly be reflected in the figures in future months.
