Tesla is offering a way for its customers in Europe to avoid the winter holiday rush this season. The company is providing free charging during off-peak hours in several countries with the highest percentage of Tesla car owners and where there are several days off in February.

Tesla has decided to please its customers in Europe by giving them free charging on some of its Superchargers. So owners of the company's cars will be able to charge for free on some days at some hours for a total of 79 Tesla Superchargers in Germany, France, Norway, and Sweden.

This event is related to the winter holidays in Europe and these countries were chosen from among others for several reasons. First of all, they have the highest percentage of Tesla car ownership and the potential for needing more distribution amongst chargers and charge times. The manufacturer's vehicles enjoyed especially high popularity in these countries in 2021. In addition, the company has launched a pilot program in France, Germany, and Norway to offer charging to other manufacturers’ EVs, which will undoubtedly increase the load on Superchargers, and will be especially noticeable over the holiday weekend.

In Germany, Tesla provides free charging on 31 Superchargers from Friday to Sunday between February 18 and March 6, that is, for 9 days out of 17. They will be open for free charging before 8:00 and after 19:00 (all locations are listed below).

In Norway, Tesla provides free charging on 8 Superchargers from Friday to Sunday between February 18 and March 6, i.e. also for 9 days out of 17. They will be open for free charging before 12:00 and after 19:00.

In Sweden, Tesla provides free charging on 13 Superchargers from Friday to Sunday between February 18 and March 6, i.e. also for 9 days out of 17. They will be open for free charging before 11:00 and after 18:00.

In France, Tesla provides free charging on the 27 Superchargers from Friday to Sunday between February 11 and February 27, that is, also for 9 days out of 17, but will begin a week earlier than in other countries. They will be open for free charging before 10:00 and after 18:00.
