Tesla vision is a unique and very amazing technology. Based on the images received from cameras located around the car, the system recreates the car's environment and transfers it to the display. The ability to convey the colors of objects is an important skill. Soon, Tesla Vision will be able to capture turn signals, hazards, ambulance/police lights, and hand gestures, Elon Musk said.

In the latest update to FSD Beta V9, it was noticed that Tesla Vision can catch the brake lights of cars when they light up, giving the driver quick access to the situation, which is an amazing achievement. However, this is not the endpoint of improvement and the function will receive even more significant improvements in the future.

According to information received from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, cars will soon be able to see more widely around the car and capture other color indicators from the environment. After some improvements, Tesla Vision will also be able to capture turn signals, hazards, ambulance/police lights, and hand gestures, which is truly mind-blowing.

In addition, after these updates are implemented, Tesla will improve them even more. Musk wrote that once cars are able to recognize different types of lights, they will react accordingly as well.

This desire of Tesla is a consequence of the manufacturer trying to cover all possible traffic situations on the road, which ultimately will allow it to achieve Level 5 autonomy. This will be achieved by using only cameras in vehicles, as the radar data is less reliable. Radars also cannot detect colors. Therefore, cars that have only radars, such as a LIDAR system, unlike Tesla Vision, are incapable of full self-driving in all traffic situations.
