JP Morgan has officially registered a cryptocurrency trademark. “JP Morgan Wallet” brand is designed to support transfer, exchange, and payment processing in cryptocurrency.
JP Morgan continues its dive into the cryptocurrency market. America's largest bank is set to offer crypto exchange services to its customers through a newly developed trademark that was granted on November 15, according to Watcher.Guru.
The USPTO licensed trademark attorney, Mike Kondoudis, reported filing on November 21. His tweet explained that JP Morgan Wallet is registered for “Virtual Currency Transfer + exchange, crypto payment processing, virtual checking accounts, and financial services.” Registration allows JP Morgan Wallet to provide services related to the transfer of cryptocurrencies on the blockchain, the exchange of cryptocurrencies, the processing of payments using a credit or cash cards, and the creation and management of settlement accounts that operate virtually.

JP Morgan filed for the trademark in July 2020. In August 2021, the bank allowed its clients to invest in cryptocurrency funds. It was a service offered by New York Digital Investment Group, a cryptocurrency investment company. The move subsequently preceded its ongoing expansion into the virtual currency market.
The introduction and further development of the JP Morgan Wallet is a good sign of the continued expansion of the market. Cryptocurrency continues to take an increasingly strong place in everyday life.
