To Accelerate The World's Transition To Sustainable Energy With Tesla On Earth Day

"The overarching purpose of Tesla Motors is to help expedite the move from a mine-and-burn hydrocarbon economy towards a solar electric economy, which I believe to be the primary, but not exclusive, sustainable solution," - Tesla CEO, Elon Musk.

People are responsible for the contamination of our planet, and only people can stop polluting the Earth and save it and themselves from the sad consequences. Environmental pollution is the introduction into the environment or the appearance in it of new, usually not characteristic physical, chemical or biological pollutants, or the excess of their natural long-term average level in various environments, leading to negative impacts.

This pollution, among other things, leads to global warming. Global warming is a long-term increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s climate system, taking place for more than a century, the main reason is human activity.

The pollution of the oceans due to leaks of oil and oil products, as well as garbage, has reached enormous proportions, which affects the decline in the populations of many animal species and the ecosystem as a whole.

A growing number of cars every year leads to a large release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which, in turn, leads to drainage of the earth, heavy precipitation on the continents and a decrease in the amount of oxygen in the air.

Tesla seeks to help the Earth. They encourage people to collect and use the energy of the sun, instead of using fossil fuel sources, as well as driving electric cars that use electricity to power, instead of combustible fuel in ICE cars.

Elon Musk promotes an energy-conscious society that generates its own energy from the sun and then uses it to charge electric car batteries. Today, thanks to Tesla and the people who bought and use their cars, they managed to save about 3,585,970 tons of CO2.

In 2019, Tesla deployed 1.65 GWh of energy storage, more than they deployed in all prior years combined and deployed 141 MW of solar.

In addition to using renewable energy and driving electric vehicles, you can help save our planet in other ways. Elon’s mom, Maye Musk, also draws our attention to a few good tips that each of us can handle.

1. Eating local fruits and vegetables will save on fossil fuels, and the food will probably be fresher, tastier, cheaper and retain more nutrients.

2. Eating more plant-based protein foods, such as beans, lentils, and tofu, instead of animal protein foods, is one way to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

3. Wholesale purchases reduce the amount of plastic, paper, metal, and energy that goes into packaging production.

4. Bring your own bags when you go to the store. Even reusing paper or plastic bags for supermarkets during previous visits can reduce the impact of petroleum-based plastic bags that are used every year in the US, which are often dumped in landfills and as a pollutant of our freshwater and oceans.

We wish you a happy Earth Day! Take care of the Earth, it is our only home!
