In mid-January, at the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute's (CAERI) "China Automotive Research Index Annual Ceremony" and at the "Third China Environment and Health Summit 2021," the China-made Tesla Model 3 received the title of "Health Index Annual Recommended Car."

This marks the second time the Model 3 has been recommended as an interior design model after receiving the award in 2019. Being elected for two consecutive years is enough to prove that Tesla has not only achieved outstanding achievements in electric vehicle safety but also created a healthier in-vehicle environment for consumers.

The results of the 2020 CAERI rankings show that the refreshed 2021 Model 3 Standard Range has received five stars in terms of vehicle VOC content and vehicle odor intensity. In order to achieve this, Tesla has introduced many innovations in many areas, such as interior materials and air filtration. When it comes to interior materials, Tesla vehicles use more environmentally friendly, odorless and harmless high-tech synthetic materials to replace traditional materials used in the auto industry.

When it comes to air filtration, the passenger compartment air filter used by Tesla not only has super-cleaning ability but also prevents harmful particles such as pollen from entering the car. Meanwhile, clean air from the air conditioner air outlet is continuously distributed to all corners of the vehicle, discreetly improving the air quality in the vehicle, and creating a healthy and comfortable driving space.

In addition, Tesla has also developed a HEPA air filtration system, which is installed in China's Model Y and US-made Model S and Model X. The HEPA air filter device can effectively absorb harmful gases, dust, and other pollutants, and can quickly remove specific odors in the car, improving interior air quality.

Tesla has always sought to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. By promoting energy reform and environmental improvements, Tesla also hopes that users can now enjoy cleaner air inside their vehicles too.
