Tesla generates a lot of enthusiasm from consumers who see it as a great brand. Tesla has won 5 out of 14 2023 Brand Image Awards from Kelley Blue Book nominations. The brand has received KBB awards for the fourth year in a row.

For more than 15 years, the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) Brand Image Awards have honored automakers whose vehicle lineups inspire customer enthusiasm. However, the award goes not only to brands that consumers know about but also to those who can excite and attract new car buyers. This is exactly what is needed when it comes to success in the market.

This year, KBB has selected 14 winners of the Brand Image Award. Best Overall EV Brand has also been added to the standard list of awards. It is noteworthy that out of 14 awards, 5 were earned by Tesla. No other automaker has even come close to such comprehensive recognition. Tesla became the winner in the following categories:

  • Best Overall Luxury Brand
  • Best Value Luxury Brand
  • Most Refined Luxury Brand
  • Best Performance Luxury Brand
  • Best EV Brand

Kelley Blue Book wrote that identifying the best was a challenge as there are many great brands on the market offering a wide variety of different car models. All KBB Brand Image Awards are based on the opinions of over 12,000 new car buyers on the market. These are informed consumers who research car buying information on KBB.com in detail. KBB tracks this audience as part of its annual Brand Watch Study, which collects trends and consumer attitudes toward new cars available today.
